Requests go to Leadership for approval. Once approved, they're added to the company calendar and relevant managers are notified automatically. Managers can log entries directly; technician requests require approval.

🗺️ Drainage Risk Map
Property-level drainage predictions for Metro Detroit scheduling
Click anywhere on the map to inspect drainage data
📚 How This Works
▼
1. What This Tool Does
This drainage risk map helps lawn care crews decide where it's safe to work today and where to postpone. It combines permanent terrain/soil data with live weather conditions to produce a risk score for every grid cell across Metro Detroit.
Live View — Real-time risk (0–100) combining static terrain with current weather, soil moisture, and forecast
Static Risk View — Permanent terrain & soil risk (0–10) independent of weather; use the rainfall slider to simulate scenarios
Soil Groups View — USDA Hydrologic Soil Groups (A–D) showing inherent drainage capacity
Click any grid cell on the map to open the detail panel with a full breakdown of scores, soil properties, and scheduling recommendations.
2. Static Risk Layer (Terrain + Soil)
The base layer scores every location on five permanent factors that never change with weather.
35%
Topographic Wetness Index (TWI) — Measures where water naturally accumulates. Higher TWI = wetter, flatter collection zones.
25%
Hydrologic Soil Group (HSG) — USDA classification. Group A (sandy) drains in hours; Group D (heavy clay) holds water for days.
20%
Slope — Steeper slopes shed water faster. Flat areas (<1°) pond and score higher risk.
10%
Flow Accumulation — How much uphill area drains through this cell.
10%
Drainage Class — USDA overall assessment from "Excessively Drained" to "Very Poorly Drained".

3. Live Conditions Layer (Weather)
When weather data is available, the Live view combines static terrain risk with four dynamic weather components using IDW interpolation from 6 weather stations.
50%
Antecedent Precipitation Index (API) — Tracks cumulative soil moisture over the past 7 days with exponential decay.
20%
ET Deficit (Moisture Balance) — 7-day precipitation minus evapotranspiration.
20%
48h Forecast Rain — QPF weighted by probability.
10%
Drying Conditions — Composite of wind speed, humidity, and soil temperature.
6. Using This for Daily Scheduling
0–30
Low — All operations permitted. Ideal conditions.
31–50
Moderate — Normal ops OK. Avoid concentrated traffic on clay areas.
51–65
High — Light equipment only. No aeration. Postpone if possible.
66–80
Very High — Emergency service only. High rut/compaction risk.
81–100
Extreme — POSTPONE ALL. Standing water likely.

Operator lane
Start in the live week, then move as one payroll story.
Payroll Center now frames your route on one surface: choose the company and week, clear the queue, freeze the batch, finish commission review, then hand off the frozen ADP package without pretending the external step happened here.
Control points
Week monitor shows who is clean, blocked, or already locked.
Wizard phases preserve resume context for the current company and period.
Phase 5 keeps package prep and submission logging together as one audit trail.

Set the operating lane here, refresh the week grid, then convert the monitor into the guided walkthrough when you're ready.
Start here when you're ready to turn this monitor into a guided payroll pass.
Truth boundary
Payroll Center owns review, freeze, and audit trail.
Manual ADP upload still happens outside this workspace, and sold-by SA5 writeback remains gated until the contract is verified. This shell is designed to make that obvious instead of easy to miss.

Guardrail
Keep the run truthful
Payroll Center can drive local review and frozen package prep, but it should not claim live ADP upload or SA5 writeback.
Best next step

Step A: Pull or import commission review data
Pull company-scoped commission review data for the payroll run, or use CSV as the fallback/manual intake path.
Note: Live SA5 commission pull and sold-by writeback stay explicitly gated until the repo has a verified tenant endpoint contract.
If pull is blocked, the review run still stays open so CSV fallback can be uploaded into the same pass, and staged reassignment happens in Step C.
Technician Commissions

Phase 5: ADP handoff, finalize, and history
This is a truthful manual-upload prep and closeout flow. Payroll Center reviews the frozen payroll batch, validates the current identifier assumptions, lets operators generate a frozen package, and keeps the handoff, commission-change, and submission history together. It does not pretend a live ADP API integration or live SA5 writeback exists.
Submission tracking and operator handoff
After you download the package and complete the manual ADP upload or entry, record the outcome here so the frozen batch keeps a truthful submission trail.
